Pottery Taster Workshop - £100 pp

A relaxed, creative session designed for complete beginners or anyone curious about working with clay. This extended workshop blends hand‑building techniques with wheel‑throwing, giving you a well‑rounded introduction to pottery in a small, supportive group.
What’s Included
- A 2.5‑hour guided session covering:
- Hand‑building (pinch pots, slabs, simple forms)
- Wheel‑throwing (centering, opening, pulling)
- Use of a fully equipped studio with 3 potter’s wheels and 1 mini wheel
- Time to create several pieces using both techniques
- You’ll select your best three to be:
- Trimmed
- Bisque fired
- Glazed in transparent
- Stoneware fired
Collection
Finished work will be ready 3–6 weeks after your workshop. Timing varies depending on workload, drying speed, and humidity.
Group Size
- Minimum: 3 participants
- Maximum: 4 participants
A small group ensures personalized guidance and a calm, creative atmosphere.
What to Bring
- Your own towel and apron
- Long hair tied back
- Short, trimmed nails
- Not suitable for participants with nail extensions.
Booking & Payment
- Book via our booking app: register, choose a Saturday date (unless otherwise stated), and wait for confirmation.
- Once minimum numbers are met, an invoice will be sent.
- Bookings are non‑refundable, but you may transfer your place to someone else.
